Hi my name is Cam!! I'm 23 y/o and I am from the US. I have my BS in biology, and I have a special interest in ecology/evolution. I started a PhD program in EEB, but withdrew during my 2nd year to focus on my mental health (academia is also awful). Research is still a big hobby of mine, and I have a virtual journal club here where I post summaries about cool papers I've read :*)

I'm a digital and traditional artist, and have also started to practice animation a lot more (check out some of my work here).

my other main interests include gaming (esp speedrunning content), houseplants, indie animation, programming, hiking, xenofiction, and 2000s nostalgia!

I am trans + genderfluid, and I am on the aroace spectrum. I use any pronouns!!

I am also autistic, ADHD, and have PTSD and anxiety. One of my main motives for making this site was to talk about personal experiences with my mental health and trauma.
